 Stanford University professors Paul R. Milgrom, 72, and Robert B. Wilson, 83, were awarded the prestigious Nobel Prize for economics on Monday for their work on improving auctions and helping sellers, buyers, and taxpayers around the world.

The professors' theory was "People shouldn't buy crap they don't need and can't afford."



Kim Jong-un wept during a huge military parade in North Korea as he issued a rare
apology for his failures during the coronavirus outbreak. Kim begged for forgiveness, admitting that he has not always lived up to the trust placed in him.

Kim promised to make up for his behavior by executing the entire population of the nearest village.



Pope Francis has met with Cardinal George Pell days after the Australian accused an Italian cardinal of using Vatican funds to bribe witnesses to secure his sex abuse conviction.

"The cardinal's actions were absurd," said Pell. "Since when do you need to bribe witnesses when it comes to sexual abuse in the church?"




Phil Collins, 69, is filing an eviction lawsuit to remove his ex-wife Orianne Cevey, 46, from their Miami mansion.

Cevey, in turn, says she wants to evict the homeless guy who claims to be Phil Collins.






President Donald Trump claimed Monday that the coronavirus pandemic will 'run its course' as he prepares to return to the campaign trail with a rally in Florida this evening.

"And by 'run its course'," he added, "I mean through my entire family and administration before it goes on to infect everyone else in America because they're weak, weak people."
